A Little About My Journey
Choosing to become a therapist wasn’t something I stumbled into, it was something that grew naturally from who I’ve always been. I’ve long carried a deep curiosity about people: what they feel, how they cope, and what helps them feel safe and understood.

In my own life, having someone genuinely listen made an enormous difference. Feeling seen and supported during hard moments shaped not only who I am, but the kind of therapist I strive to be. My work is grounded in creating that same sense of warmth, safety, and compassion for every client who walks through the door.

My Background & Training
I completed my BA in Psychology at Brock University and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Niagara University. I practice from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) solution-focused and mindfulness-based practices lens. With children, I engage in play therapy and use an electric therapeutic approach.
As a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), I continue to learn, grow, and stay connected to evidence-based ways of supporting children, youth, and adults.

Who I Support
Children & Youth (Ages 4+)
Working with children is one of the most meaningful parts of my practice. Kids often communicate through play, creativity, movement, and small moments, not always words. Through play therapy and connection, I support children who may be experiencing:
-
Anxiety
-
ADHD
-
Low mood or sadness
-
Anger or frustration
-
Emotional overwhelm
-
Behavioural challenges
-
Bullying or school-related stress
-
Family changes or conflict

My intention is always to meet children where they are, help them feel safe enough to be themselves, and gently support them in building confidence and coping skills. I believe meaningful progress often happens when children and their caregivers feel supported together. In addition to working directly with children, I also help parents and families better understand behaviours, respond with confidence, and foster positive change within the family system.

Adults
For adults, I offer a calming space to slow down, reflect, and explore life’s challenges at your own pace. I support individuals navigating:
-
Anxiety or chronic worry
-
Depression or low motivation
-
Relationship or communication difficulties
-
OCD
-
ADHD
-
Stress, burnout, and overwhelm
-
Anger and emotional intensity
-
Major life transitions

Together, we look at what you’re carrying and create practical, sustainable strategies to help you feel more grounded and supported.

My Therapeutic Approach
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine, trusting relationship. My style is gentle, non-judgmental, and grounded in collaboration. I draw from CBT, solution-focused techniques, mindfulness, and play-based approaches for younger clients.

Clients often share that they feel calm and understood in our sessions , and that is exactly the atmosphere I hope to create: a place where you can show up honestly and be met with care.

What Sessions Are Like
Your therapy is your own. I tailor each session to your needs, whether we’re using structured tools, talking things through, or creating space for a child to express themselves through play.

Our first session is focused on getting to know you, understanding what brings you in, and setting goals that feel meaningful and achievable.

Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of my work, I love spending time with my cat, Stewie, being with friends and family, exploring creative projects, and getting outdoors whenever I can. These parts of my life help me stay grounded, balanced, and fully present for the people I support.

Taking the Next Step
Reaching out for therapy can feel tender and vulnerable, but you don’t have to do it alone. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or for your child, I’m here to offer a steady, compassionate space where we can explore things together — gently, at your pace, and in a way that feels right for you.
